It is no accident that you became a member of our fellowship.

In Acts chapter 17 when the apostle Paul was in Athens, Greece about 2000 years ago, he spoke to a group of religious and spiritual people, people who wanted to know God, and told them:

Act 17:24 God, who made the world and everything in it, is Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples made by human hands.
Act 17:25 Nor does he need anything that we can supply by working for him, since it is he himself who gives life and breath and everything else to everyone.
Act 17:26 From one human being he created all races of people and made them live throughout the whole earth. He himself fixed beforehand the exact times and the limits of the places where they would live.
Act 17:27 He did this so that they would look for him, and perhaps find him as they felt around for him. Yet God is actually not far from any one of us;
Act 17:28 as someone has said, 'In him we live and move and exist.' It is as some of your poets have said, 'We too are his children.'
Act 17:29 Since we are God's children, we should not suppose that his nature is anything like an image of gold or silver or stone, shaped by human art and skill.
Act 17:30 God has overlooked the times when people did not know him, but now he commands all of them everywhere to turn away from their evil ways.
Act 17:31 For he has fixed a day in which he will judge the whole world with justice by means of a man he has chosen. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising that man from death!"

Act 17:24 Ang Dios na gumawa ng sanglibutan at ng lahat ng mga bagay na naririto, siya, palibhasa'y Panginoon ng langit at ng lupa, ay hindi tumatahan sa mga templong ginawa ng mga kamay;
Act 17:25 Ni hindi rin naman pinaglilingkuran siya ng mga kamay ng mga tao, na para bagang siya'y nangangailangan ng anomang bagay, yamang siya rin ang nagbibigay sa lahat ng buhay, at ng hininga, at ng lahat ng mga bagay;
Act 17:26 At ginawa niya sa isa ang bawa't bansa ng mga tao upang magsipanahan sa balat ng buong lupa, na itinakda ang kanilang talagang ayos ng mga kapanahunan at ang mga hangganan ng kanilang tahanan;

God has a plan and purpose for you and your life. According to the scriptures, God has determined the times and the exact places you should live so that you might search for him and find him. It is no accident that you became a member of our fellowship.

Jer 29:11 I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.
Jer 29:12 Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you.
Jer 29:13 You will seek me, and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart.
